VANESSA GRECA: FIRST TRIP TO JAPAN

What is the first trip you ever took on your own?
Tokyo, Japan. I was 16 years old when I left Brazil to model in Tokyo. I didn't speak any English or Japanese. It was such an amazing experience! I had to stay there for two months under a contract with a small modeling agency. I had to learn how to be responsible and professional. I lived in the models apartment in Shibuya Ku. I met so many young girls and we all remain friends until today. We modeled in everything from Comme des Garcons fashion shows to Japanese street-style photographs. I still adore Japan. The cultures are so cool.
