WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO GO TO SCOTLAND?
I met my husband when I was on exchange in photography at the Glasgow School of Art. He grew up among picturesque farmland in the Cleish Valley, a far cry from the apartment in Manhattan that I was raised in. I think I am most inspired still by how people choose to live there. It is beautiful, but not easy. Even the “luxury” is not glossy - everything is a bit rough, a bit untamed. The people are as warm and friendly and funny as they come.
