I was born and raised in Quito so I like to go back and visit my family any chance I get.
I always look forward to the great variety of fresh fruit and vegetables!

How did you plan your trip?
I prefer taking night flights from New York so I can squeeze in an extra day.

What items should one never leave home without when traveling to Quito?
Sunscreen and moisturizer.
Quito is right on the equator so the sun is very strong.
Even on cloudy days, you can definitely get burnt- you have to be careful and remember to reapply.
The climate is also extremely dry so it is important to stay hydrated and moisturize.
