“Shark Harbor is a private beach on Catalina Island. It is extraordinary- no more than a handful of people; maybe one boat- like a rogue pirate sailor ship. There are no waves - an ocean swimming pool. I float on my back in the water and stare into the sun through shut eyelids. I become one with the ocean and surrender to its calming nature. I imagine the beauty of the mermaid treasures I would discover if I could dive into the depths of the sea, visiting enchanting kingdoms.

My favorite beachside souvenirs are seashells and ocean rocks. I spend hours in pure bliss wandering along the shoreline. I keep bowls of these treasures throughout my home. I rub their distinct surfaces while I daydream. If I could live anywhere by to sea it would be on my own private island, in peace and harmony with the ocean's creatures, a safe and loving home beside a sea free of pollution. My dream is to swim with whales in the deep blue waters, wild and free.

I'm a hippie beach girl at heart. I express my nomad soul in every facet of my work- with a free spirit, an open mind and a dream waiting to be realized. This is how I approach each new project. My hope is that this passion and clarity comes through in all that I create. My favorite swim quote is by Janet Finch: She would be half a planet away, floating in a turquoise sea, dancing by moonlight to flamenco guitar."
