LIGHT SHOW: PLACES TO SEE THE MIDNIGHT SUN AND THE AURORA BOREALIS : FINNISH LAPLAND
  There are some incredible things happening in the skies near the Arctic Circle. Uncounted natural highs. In the summer, the phenomenon known as Midnight Sun means some places experience daylight 24-hours per day, for months at a time. Then, as days grown colder, dark skies are illuminated by the aurora borealis—it’s created by charged particles in the atmosphere, though you don’t need to understand the science of the thing to appreciate the Northern Lights’ otherworldly beauty. Inspired by the human body as the ultimate landscape, we have created a celestial slideshow of dreamy images. The following destinations allow us to experience the natural wonders of the sun, moon, and stars.
