  Robert Morris was always confrontational—in his body art through explorations of sexual deviance and norms, in his sculpture with a distinct blurring of the lines between Minimalism and anti-form, and in the case of his early land art piece Steam (1967), in which he poured damp air into an open space, his examination of just how ephemeral art can be.
