“Koh Phayam, in Ranong province in Southern Thailand, is an island of Cashew nut trees, rubber plantations, and friendly beach dogs. Peaceful and quiet, the beaches are perfect in September. The island is not as developed as the others Kohs. My favorite part of Koh Phayam is the surfing. It is one of the few Thai islands you can properly surf; great waves, an open, warm sea and the softest sand.”
