"Why do today's models have such a simplified walk? I think they're tired,” seventies modeling icon Pat Cleveland told an interviewer last fall. Her model daughter, Anna, isn’t about to let her peers’ stoic style stop her: "I absolutely can walk like my mother,” she related. “We have the same genes—she passed the torch on to me. I always saw her on the runway, and I felt so inspired that she had something inside, that she moved the garments, made them come to life.”
