What is your favorite memory of Myanmar?
I sat down in various places around Shwedagon Pagoda and simply watched. It was some of the most fascinating people watching I have ever done. Families having fun, focused individuals, and iconic monks all walking around the Pagoda, stopping for prayer, starting to meditate, or ringing a Buddhist Bell. It was my first evening in Myanmar and I had already realized why it was special. Cultural bliss.

Tips for Women Traveling to Myanmar?
Myanmar is an extremely safe place from a physical perspective. You will not feel threatened in the slightest and if you mind your traveler's common sense, you will be in good hands. As for health, be mindful of water and be sure to bring your own medicine and first aid. Health facilities are often far from reach or far behind Western standards. Western women never spoke of being hassled.  I think it is extremely safe.  The dress is Buddhist modest for sure. Women are at ease everywhere- as shop owners, street food chefs, and passionate Buddhists.
