LUX: Inside the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech is the Berber Museum. The quantity and quality of the Berber jewelry collection alone is astonishing. The exhibit displays traditional dress of different tribes and brings them to life with a careful attention to detail. A number of the pieces were purchased from the antique shop, Amazonite.

LOCAL: The Bert Flint Museum in Marrakech is another fascinating collection that houses artifacts from all over Africa including textiles, costumes, masks and nomads traveling gear. Mr. Flint is another expat who came to Morocco, fell in love with the place and never left. His passion and interest is conveyed with crystal clarity in this through collection.
