Favorite memory?
While visiting the Trashi Chhoe Dzong on the way to the car park, I was fortunate enough to run into the convoy of King Jigme Khesar on his way home from work and got a good look at him. He kindly smiled and waved at us.
Also, everything else about Bhutan was magical. I hope it remains as innocent and untouched as it is now for as long as possible. Bhutan is a magical kingdom.

Any tips for women traveling to Bhutan?
I always felt very safe in Bhutan. The local guides took very good care of us. They even accompanied us on a night out in town even though it seemed very safe. The only thing is to be careful not to get sick or hurt yourself, as hospitals are hard to reach if you are outside Thimphu. It takes a long time to get to a hospital. Bring medicine and a first aid kit.
